Yancey Jones
Executive Chairman
Yancey is now solely focused on guiding future growth for SPR customers and suppliers after a long history of business leadership. He founded The Supply Room Companies, which purchased more than 40 companies, creating one of the largest independent resellers in our industry. He was also a founding member of two buying groups and AOPD. He played a major part in the merger of Pinnacle, TriMega and Independent Suppliers Group.
Mike has provided his customer-focused, results-oriented leadership for companies in all OPI segments from independent dealer, manufacturer to wholesale distributor, including 14 years at SPR. Joining SPR in 1990, he excelled as Operations Manager and GM at the Philadelphia DC, VP of Sales, Head of National Accounts and NE Division VP. Most recently, Mike served as CEO of Independent Suppliers Group (ISG), the largest reseller-owned buying cooperative in the business products industry.
Jack targets success with high expectations and a sharp focus on all the numbers that add up to profitable revenue growth, building an inspiring track record even before he joined S.P. Richards in 2009. His broad experience and accomplishments in all aspects of leadership involved a variety of executive positions at ActionEmco, BT Office Product and other companies in the national and Independent dealer channel.
Doug Sawyer
Sr. VP and Chief Financial Officer
Doug brought substantial accounting and financial expertise when he joined S.P. Richards in 2015. This Certified Public Accountant (CPA) served many financial and leadership roles at Superior Essex, Acuity Brands and Arthur Andersen as well as serving in various financial leadership roles in the manufacturing and oil and gas industries. He is both a strategic and innovative leader with a deep understanding of the business as well as a focus on building value while managing costs.
Brian McGill
Sr. VP and Chief Information Officer
Brian oversees S.P. Richards’ entire technology infrastructure, knowing it better than anyone. Starting as a programmer for our company in 1987, he dedicated his career to bringing innovative solutions to our customers. He brings an inherent understanding of our customers’ needs and is committed to developing and leveraging the right technology tools to help dealers compete and succeed in the marketplace.
Jim Starr
Sr. VP of Human Resources
Jim elevates the idea that human resources drive and lead our business, fully investing himself and his team as strategic partners in nurturing our employees’ success. He’s been developing his outstanding leadership skills since he started at S.P. Richards as a manager trainee 26 years ago and throughout his work as general manager in three distribution centers before joining our HR department in 2003.
Tom Maley
Sr. VP of Corporate Development and Treasurer
Tom provides valuable guidance in directing our future business development efforts. Since joining S.P. Richards in 2002, he has worked in various capacities including corporate development, strategic planning, financial and industry analysis and pricing. He is also involved in assisting dealers with acquisitions, succession planning and financial/operational benchmarking. Before S.P. Richards, Tom worked at KPMG Consulting and General Dynamics.
Nick leads his merchandising and sales teams with a 30-year FBS background that included management positions with top industry leaders. Through Nick’s empowering leadership over the last 10 years, S.P. Richards has emerged as a premier wholesaler to multiple distribution channels in this rapidly growing sector.
Bryan Hall
Sr. VP of Operations
Bryan creates opportunities and builds teams for success by working closely with customers and teammates alike. During his 20-plus years with S.P. Richards, he continues to excel in sales and operational leadership while leading and directing multiple facilities and divisions. His balanced approach to sales and operations cultivates win-win outcomes for all stakeholders.
Stephanie is a results-oriented thought leader who joined S.P. Richards as a manager trainee 15 years ago. Her expertise in thorough analysis, winning strategies and effective tactical applications fueled her success in her former roles as Sales Representative, Distribution Center General Manager and Vice President of Strategic Pricing.
Brad is a hands-on leader with responsibility for operational excellence, transportation, logistics, inventory management and an IT team tasked with implementing advanced technologies. He joined S.P. Richards in 2000 and worked in IT, DC Operations management and Logistics. That background fuels his drive toward innovation while keeping him grounded in management reality and achieving results.
Christie Pruett
VP of Information Systems
Christie is a motivated IT leader who encourages personal and professional growth. Since joining S.P. Richards in 2007 she has excelled in many IT projects playing pivotal roles in major IT initiatives. She was promoted to Director of Applications and two years later to Assistant VP of Application Development. As an IT leader she continued her result-focused leadership taking on new application responsibilities to support vital SPR efforts.
Curt is the rock of our Merchandising Department, supporting that team with his strong leadership for the several years. Starting out in distribution management, Curt spent more than 14 years specializing in furniture merchandising at S.P. Richards. His expertise expanded to Global Sourcing in search of private label furniture, office products, technology, cleaning/breakroom and further into Merchandising logistics.
Julie Charyna
VP of Human Resources
Julie contributes an extensive HR background and is recognized as an expert and leader in her field as a Senior Certified Human Resources Profession, SHRM-SCP. Her proven success aligning HR strategy with organizational goals, demonstrated leadership and expertise in all areas of human resources including employee relations and leadership development make her a valuable asset.
Lindsay Eierman
VP of Supply Chain
Lindsay brings a diverse background and high energy to leading the Supply Chain team. Her group is responsible for managing over $1.3 billion in annual purchases from more than 500 vendors. Excelling in data analysis, project management and marketing strategy, Lindsay has risen quickly from director to vice president since she joined S.P. Richards less than 3 years ago. Lindsay holds an MBA from Emory Goizueta Business School, a Masters in Divinity from Duke Divinity School and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania.
Paul delivers innovative marketing solutions with his strategic thinking and hard-driving work ethic to create world-class digital content and print publications. Before he joined SPR in 1999 as Director of E-Commerce, he spent 7 years with International Paper Company with roles in manufacturing, marketing and national account sales.
Susan Lada
VP of Global Sourcing & Jan/San Merchandising
Susan travels the world for S.P. Richards to find the best, most cost-effective sources for our proprietary products since joining us in 2012. She leverages her broad experience in global sourcing and product marketing with retailers and wholesalers as well as project management to yield the most successful outcomes. Her background includes a proven record with Fortune 100 companies of driving sales and delivering optimum results.
Eddie Baird
VP of Furniture Sales
Eddie brings more than 30 years of experience in the furniture industry from manufacturing to a Regional Sales Manager with OF/USA, Sales Leadership with a contract furniture dealer and merchandise and sales leadership with S.P. Richards. Eddie leverages his experience to bring more value to our customers to assist them in growing a more profitable furniture business. He values his team members and encourages them to have fun selling furniture and value time with their families.
