Los Angeles Distribution Center named SPR Distribution Center of the Year

S.P. Richards Company presented its Los Angeles, California location the 2009 Distribution Center of the Year award at the company’s recent National Sales Meeting. This honor is awarded each year to the S.P. Richards distribution center that achieves the highest combined results in a number of key performance measurements including service levels, order accuracy, inventory accuracy, inventory turn, sales, profits and employee productivity.

Jay Brooks, Distribution Center General Manager, accepted the award on behalf of the employees of the Los Angeles Distribution Center. He commented on the honor, "We’ve got a great group of employees dedicated to delivering a superior level of customer support. I couldn’t be more proud of the entire Los Angeles Distribution Center team.”
